Why Plonk exists
Plonk was founded by Mike — a passionate traveler who has spent a lifetime plotting routes, chasing sunrises from unfamiliar vantage points, and — truth be told — genuinely loving the planning almost as much as the trip itself. Ask his family: the kitchen table has disappeared under maps more times than anyone can count, and every itinerary gets color-coded down to the coffee stops. That joy is real, and it's his favorite part of every adventure.
But along the way, Mike kept meeting people who wanted to see the world and never got past the planning overwhelm — trips postponed, then quietly abandoned. It broke his heart a little every time. So he set out to bottle the part he loves — the craft of building a trip around a person — and hand it to everyone, in minutes instead of weekends.
